Wood, Cohen Advance to Semi-Finals of CWGA Junior Match Play

Layfayette, CO – Number one seed Hannah Wood of CommonGround Golf Course defeated number eight seed Kylee Sullivan of Country Club of Colorado during the quarterfinal match at Indian Peaks Golf Course in Layfayette. Yesterday, Wood fired a two under par 70 to capture the number one seed. Today Wood started her round with a bogey but shot two birdies during her round to win the match. Also shooting two under par in yesterday's stroke play qualifying round was Mackenzie Cohen of Inverness Golf Club who also won her match today defeating Megan McCambridge of Boulder Country Club 1 up. Cohen had a total of four birdies during her round to win the close match. Tomorrow Wood will match up against Sydney Merchant of Red Rocks Country Club and Cohen will match up against Sarah Hankins of Thorncreek Golf Course beginning at 9:36am.
