A Breakdown of the Best Things to Do in Cabo

Things to Do in Cabo

This month, our featured Los Cabos Insider is Nubia Sarabia Fornes, Director of Sales for Questro Golf. The Questro Golf communities (Cabo Real, Puerto Los Cabos & Club Campestre San Jose) are custom-designed golf courses with involvement from prestigious firms as Nicklaus Design and Jack Nicklaus Signatures Courses, Robert Trent Jones II Design and Greg Norman Signatures Courses and are the “must play” golf destinations for those visiting and living in Los Cabos.

Having lived and worked in Los Cabos for a number of years, Nubia shares her “insider” tips for making the most of a Los Cabos getaway:

Q: What is your favorite part about living and working in Los Cabos?

A: My favorite part about living in Los Cabos is the stunning variety of scenery that surrounds us, such as the Sea of Cortes, the Sierra La Laguna mountain range, the desert, and of course, our beautiful rock formation – the Arch. Safety and tranquility is a key factor for me as well, along with the unique cultural mix of the community, which is made up of both foreign and Mexican residents.

Q: What activity should every traveler try at least once when visiting Cabo?

A: Well, of course, play at one of the amazing golf courses! Visitors should also try yoga by the beach, whale watching during the winter months and a visit the Art District in San José del Cabo, where you can find some of the best local and international artists.

Q: Why should a traveler select Los Cabos over other destinations in Mexico for their next vacation?

A: Los Cabos is a unique paradise that is perfect for adventure, food, arts, golf, fishing, surfing, scuba diving, lovers, and families. Plus it’s home to some of the most exclusive resorts in the world. We really have it all in the most amazing setting of Lands’ End. Once you’ve visited, you’ll want to make Los Cabos your second or permanent home!
