The Greatest Shot…Ever?

Collin Morikawa had a magical moment in the PGA Championship. Some argue it deserves a vaunted place in history.

Collin Morikawa now has as many major championships as missed cuts on the PGA TOUR. During last weekend’s final round of the PGA Championship, the 23-year-old emerged from an elegant streetlight (it is golf after all) at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco to write the latest chapter in an already incredibly-impressive career.

Morikawa arguably won the tournament with his tee shot on the reachable 16th hole, a drive that, given the circumstances, went beyond brilliant. How far beyond? Here’s a story from Golf Digest that tries to put that into perspective (Spoiler Alert: They think it was pretty special): More Here
