Rohrbaugh Advances to Final Stage of Q-School

Doug Rohrbaugh’s amazing year isn’t over yet.

The PGA Head Professional at Ironbridge Golf Club—who earned the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame’s Golf Person of the Year by winning the HealthONE Colorado Senior Open, the Colorado PGA Professional Championship, the Colorado Senior PGA Professional Championship and also qualifying for the U.S. Senior Open—advanced to the final stage of Champions Tour qualifying school.

Barely.

Rohrbaugh made it interesting by shooting an 80 in the final round at the regional qualifying tournament at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta, Calif., His four-day total of 299 tied him for 16th place, the last possible spot.

Rohrbaugh will now compete with 77 other players for a coveted 2014 Champions Tour card at the final stage of Champions Tour Q-school Nov. 19-22 at the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course in Arizona.
