What Will the New CGA Logo Look Like?

In honor of its 100th anniversary, the Colorado Golf Association will unveil a new logo February 10 at the G4 Golf Summit at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

Designed by Denver-based Adrenalin, the logo will shed the pine needles, which didn’t exactly suggest “Colorado,” and establish a new brand for the organization.

But what will that be? We looked at the logos of some other state golf associations to get a clue.

Will the CGA take its cue from associations that incorporate the shapes of their states? Or is Colorado too square?

Will it borrow from our neighbors, who seem to like cartoons? Or is that just too goofy?

Will just letters be enough?

Or no letters at all?

Will something symbolic of the state carry the day?

And, if so, what would that be?

Stay tuned.
