The Bridges Golf Club is a stunning semi-private golf course community located in the southwest part of Colorado that features a Nicklaus-designed golf course, a 24,000-square-foot clubhouse and views that will take your breath away. The Bridges is located 60 miles north of Telluride and 70 miles southeast of Grand Junction in the wonderful town of Montrose.

Montrose lies in a valley that is surrounded by the San Juan Mountains to the south and Grand Mesa to the north. At an elevation of 6,000’, golf can be played an average of 315 days per year and temperatures rarely exceed 90 degrees in the summer months. Southwest Colorado is famous for the abundant year round recreational opportunities including golf, gold medal fly-fishing, world class Jeeping, boating and hiking along with downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter.

Lew Thompson, a trucking executive from northwest Arkansas, purchased the club in 2010 from the FDIC. PGA Professional Eric Feely, former General Manger of Redlands Mesa, was hired shortly thereafter to oversee all daily operations of the multi-faceted club. The Bridges has hosted several popular bands in the past including Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Sawyer Brown, Firefall, Lonestar, Restless Heart and most recently Little River Band. The Bridges is a popular venue for weddings and provides on-site food and beverage and accommodations for wedding guests.

The well-appointed clubhouse is home to the award winning Remington’s restaurant that features casual dining with fabulous views and a Wine Spectator Awarded wine list. Remington’s serves lunch and dinner seven days a week along with Sunday brunch. Seven beautiful suites are located in the clubhouse and adjacent villa. Experiencing great golf, delicious food, fun events and comfortable accommodations sets The Bridges apart.
