The Blue Championship Returns to TPC Colorado

The Korn Ferry Tour is back on the Front Range July 9-12 for The Blue Championship at TPC Colorado!

The next stars of the PGA TOUR will tee it up as they battle for twenty PGA TOUR cards through the season-long points standings at one of the premier venues on tour.

Now in its eighth year, the tournament continues its tradition of showcasing world-class competition while making a meaningful impact throughout Colorado. New in 2026, the tournament is proud to have Children’s Hospital Colorado, one of the nation’s Top 10 pediatric healthcare systems, as its primary beneficiary.

The Blue Championship welcomes Blue Federal Credit Union as its new title sponsor for 2026, reinforcing the event’s commitment to strengthening Colorado communities, both on and off the golf course. The tournament features a $1 million purse and a field of 156 players competing over 72 holes of stroke play.

Golf fans know that today’s Korn Ferry Tour players are the next standouts of tomorrow’s PGA TOUR. Past competitors at TPC Colorado include Scottie Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, Ben Griffin, Chris Gotterup, Austin Eckroat and reigning champion Neal Shipley.

Beyond the action on the course, tournament week also offers ways to get involved outside the ropes. New for 2026, Executive Women’s Day on Thursday morning, will feature speakers and a panel discussion celebrating female leadership across the greater Denver area and beyond. Families are invited to the Junior Clinic on Saturday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. on the driving range. Friends can enjoy birdie beers on the 16^th hole throughout the weekend as well as fare from local food trucks on holes 18 and 14. And finally, fans are encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Folds of Honor Friday to recognize service members and first responders as well as yellow to support children’s healthcare on Play Yellow Sunday.

TPC Colorado itself remains a standout attraction. The par-72 championship course stretches over 8,000 yards and is home to the famed 773-yard, par-5 13th hole – known as “Longer Still” – the longest hole in PGA TOUR-sanctioned golf.
