Latino support organization hopes to bring the game to more

The Mi Casa Resource Center of Denver is holding its first golf clinic on June 6 at Racoon Creek Golf Course in Littleton.
The clinic is Mi Casa’s first effort to teach the sport to members of the Latino community who have not played. The organization is hoping to have 20 to 30 people participate.
Racoon Creek professionals will lead a 90-minute introductory lesson beginning at 6 p.m. on June 6, and participants will also receive instruction on all aspects of the game. The fee for the clinic is $85.
People interested in participating can contact Mi Casa at micasaresourcecenter.org.
“The clinic idea came to us last year when planning our second annual Mi Casa Golf Classic – many of our sponsors and own staff have not had access to the game so many of us love,” said Jill Crowley, the events coordinator with Mi Casa.
