The Club at Inverness celebrates 50th anniversary with LPGA and PGA stars

The Club at Inverness in Englewood, part of the Inverness Denver – Hilton Golf and Spa Resort, is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 24, with the Inverness Golf Shootout.

The event will feature PGA and LPGA players, offering fans an opportunity to get up close with the pros. Guests will be able to witness a star-studded lineup of top golfers, including PGA Tour players Patton Kizzire and Will MacKenzie, along with LPGA top players Sydnee Michaels and Nicole Hage.

Tickets for the event are available in two tiers. General admission is $15 allowing access to all areas of the course, including inside the ropes, beginning at noon on Saturday. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, VIP admission is available for $89 and includes the Saturday ticket plus access to a dinner with the players on Friday, Aug. 23, that will feature a special Q&A session with the players.

Other events are available throughout the weekend to help celebrate and give golfers a way to make a full weekend of experiences.

Paws on the Green: 8 a.m. shotgun start Friday, Aug. 23, at Homestead Golf Course, Lakewood, with proceeds benefiting the Cat Care Society. The event includes breakfast, buffet lunch, a raffle and special contest holes.

Swingin’ 90s Golf Night at One Shot Back:  The Denver golf tavern One Shot Back, 2134 Curtis Street, is hosting a 90’s Golf Night on Aug. 24 from 8 to 11 p.m. Hitting bays will be open and DJs will be playing the best in 90’s music. Tickets are $15.

 – Fairways for Frenchies – The Rocky Mountain French Bulldog Rescue is hosting a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start on Sunday, Aug. 25, at Applewood Golf Course, Golden, to raise money for their efforts to ensure that aging Frenchies stay in loving homes.
