A couple of weeks after the pros left the sandy shores of the UK following a pulsating mini-season of links golf, two of Scotland’s foremost golf apparel brands have launched their Autumn/Winter 2019 collections, each featuring numerous items that are perfect for those heading to the UK to tackle the dunes themselves.

Glenmuir AW19 Collection
The Scottish apparel brand’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection features three new Men’s Touch of Cashmere Zip neck sweaters – g.Beauly illustrates traditional heritage with a classic argyle. g.Corrie showcases contemporary design with a striped and color flash chest and sleeves, whilst g.Galloway reflects elegant luxury with a subtle moss stitch and cable front incorporating a discrete flash of signature Glenmuir tartan concealed underneath the placket.
The Ladies’ Touch of Cashmere line includes g.Naomi which has lurex yarn twisted through an ottoman stitch design on both the front panel and the sleeves, g.Adriana which incorporates a silver sparkle lurex raker for a “contemporary twist to the traditional argyle”, and g.Illona which combines a shaped and flattering cable and moss stitch design.
As for performance wear, the popular pique polo shirts g.Deacon and g.Paloma are now being offered in a long-sleeved option. The fabric is active and highly functional, says Glenmuir, with moisture wicking technology delivering breathability, UV protection, thermoregulation and enhanced freedom of movement.
The Men’s’ trouser collection now includes a tartan option for the g.Cuthbert range.
Available – September 1st

It incorporates ergonomic sealed seams to enhance freedom of movement, it has bonded cuff and waist adjusters for the perfect fit and high neck with draw cord adjuster as well as a draw cord adjuster through the hem. The Navy/white s.Quebec jacket has four-way stretch panels enhanced with Storm Blue zips and silver retro reflective trims and branding.

The s.Nova brushed polar fleece jacket is insulating and effective at protecting from the cold and revived in Navy with white zips. Golf Pride MicroSuede
The MicroSuede is the latest addition to the Tour Wrap line (Golf Pride’s number three seller) and is engineered with an additive finishing process that produces a brushed surface, delivering, says Golf Pride, a “uniquely soft feel with added traction”. Not only does the new grip provide added traction, however, it is designed to help golfers manage moisture more effectively in high humid areas or wet conditions.
