Dress for the Links

A couple of weeks after the pros left the sandy shores of the UK following a pulsating mini-season of links golf, two of Scotland’s foremost golf apparel brands have launched their Autumn/Winter 2019 collections, each featuring numerous items that are perfect for those heading to the UK to tackle the dunes themselves.

Glemuir - g.Corrie: Zip Neck Birdseye Stripe Flash Sweater

Glenmuir AW19 Collection

The Scottish apparel brand’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection features three new Men’s Touch of Cashmere Zip neck sweaters –  g.Beauly illustrates traditional heritage with a classic argyle. g.Corrie showcases contemporary design with a striped and color flash chest and sleeves, whilst g.Galloway reflects elegant luxury with a subtle moss stitch and cable front incorporating a discrete flash of signature Glenmuir tartan concealed underneath the placket.

The Ladies’ Touch of Cashmere line includes g.Naomi which has lurex yarn twisted through an ottoman stitch design on both the front panel and the sleeves, g.Adriana which incorporates a silver sparkle lurex raker for a “contemporary twist to the traditional argyle”, and g.Illona which combines a shaped and flattering cable and moss stitch design.

As for performance wear, the popular pique polo shirts g.Deacon and g.Paloma are now being offered in a long-sleeved option. The fabric is active and highly functional, says Glenmuir, with moisture wicking technology delivering breathability, UV protection, thermoregulation and enhanced freedom of movement.

The Men’s’ trouser collection now includes a tartan option for the g.Cuthbert range.
