Regionals scheduled for May 8 at six sites.

The Denver University women’s golf team won its fourth Summit League title last week and earned a berth in the NCAA Division 1 Women’s golf regionals.Denver University’s women moved on by winning their Summit League championship in late April at Wilderness Ridge Country Club in Lincoln, Neb. DU senior Anna Catherine Krekling shot a course and tournament single-round record of 64 to win medalist honors by nine strokes. It was the Pioneers fourth straight league title. DU will play at the San Antonio regional.
Colorado State’s Sofia Torres qualified for the Westfield regional, which will be played at The Club at Chatham Hills course in Westfield, Indiana. Torres a junior from Bogota, Colombia, took third place at the Mountain West Championships shooting a 4-under, 212 to help CSU earn their first top 3 finish since 2018.
Regional play will take place May 8 to 10 at six regional sites, with a total of 396 athletes competing. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to play in the national championships to be played May 19 to 24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The final three days of championship play will be televised live by the GOLF Channel.
