The Colorado Open Golf Foundation announced Thursday that this season’s Colorado Open tournament series would again be sponsored by Denver-based luxury travel company Inspirato.

Inspirato ended a five-year sponsorship agreement last summer at the end of the Inspirato Colorado Senior Open. Over that span Inspirato had helped fund the growth in prize money for the Colorado Open series, which at one point offered $100,000 each to the winners of the men’s and women’s open
Inspirato was founded in 2011 and was purchased in a deal that closed in February by the London-based company The Exclusive Collective in a deal that valued the company at $59 million.
“It’s a good thing we’ve got the new ownership on board for 26 and we’re hoping this year of courting and you know really showing them and proving to them what a good investment The First Tee is and the Colorado Opens are that we might have a future together, but we definitely have a deal locked in for 2026,” said Kevin Laura, CEO of the Colorado Open Golf Foundation.
Last year the tournament series reduced the prize amounts for the winners of the men’s and women’s opens – from $100,000 each to $50,000 each. The tournament series remains one of the most lucrative state opens in the country.
This summer’s Colorado Open series kicks off June 3 to 5  with the Inspirato Women’s Open, held at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. That is followed by the Inspirato Colorado Open June 23 to 26, and the Inspirato Colorado Senior Open Sept. 2 to 4.
