Annual Golf Expo features gear, trips and tips

The 2025 Colorado Golf Expo kicks off 9 a.m. Friday March 7 with a bagpipe procession and over the following three days the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver will feature the latest gear, clothes and information from Colorado golf courses and resort destinations.

Expo Owner Kevin Morton moved the event to the first full weekend in March in hopes of drawing new crowds. That’s even as the weather warms and the possibility exists of patrons splitting their time between visiting the Expo and actually playing.
As of this week most of the more-than-100 booths were spoken for and a new indoor long-driving competition is planned in addition to familiar favorites like Hole Hecklers.
“We have a lot of new small vendors, the mom and pops – clothing, hat companies – we have the U.S. Senior Open will have a booth,” Morton said. “We are hoping they will be bringing the trophy. We have a lot of the tried and true who have been at the show for many years.”
At the Colorado AvidGolfer booth – directly in front of the main doors – will be offering the 2025 Golf Passport with special incentives. Buyers of either the printed or digital passport will receive $25 gift cards toward purchases during the Expo at the Pins and Aces booth around the corner, as well as a free pizza from Parry’s Pizza locations.
Buyers who upgrade to receive their GHIN handicap registration will also receive a membership to the Colorado Golf Association and one free round at CommonGround Golf Course.
The Passport features deals and discounts on golf courses across the state, as well as restaurants and golf-simulator bars.
