Annual golf industry show coming March 7 to 9

The Colorado Golf Expo, a long-time fixture every February during Presidents Day weekend in downtown Denver, is moving to a new date for 2025.
The Expo’s owner, Kevin Morton, said his team decided to move the date for the three-day expo to avoid competing with skiing in what is a prime late-winter long weekend.
The Expo is in its 31st year and will be held in the Colorado Convention Center. By moving to March 7 to 9 in 2025 Morton said he hopes to make it easier for people to attend and to have the golf season closer.
The 2024 Expo attracted more than 9,000 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors attended.

“The one thing that I did as a new owner I took a look at every item and just because (something) was done that way in the past didn’t mean it needed to continue,” Morton said.
The upcoming show will be the second under Morton’s ownership. In 2022 Morton bought the Golf Expo from Mark and Lynn Cramer, who had operated it for 22 years.
After last year’s show Morton said he heard from patrons feedback that ranged across the board: about the music, the size of the hall, and the array of vendors and information booths.
“We get all kinds of feedback and it’s amazing,” he said.
The Expo features hundreds of exhibitors with information, sales items and giveaways. Mainstays include golf retailers such as Lenny’s Golf Shop, national brands lining an indoor driving range, and Colorado AvidGolfer, which will be offering its 2025 Golf Passport.
