Coloradans Davis and Erickson earn DP World Tour cards for 2025

Colorado pros Davis Bryant and Dan Erickson qualify for 2025 season after six-day Q-School in Spain

Aurora’s Davis Bryant finished third overall Thursday in the DP World Tour Q-School tournament on Thursday, earning a coveted Tour card for the 2025 season

Dan Erickson, whose family lives in Longmont, fired a final day score of 63 to climb 21 spots on the leaderboard to also earn his 2025 Tour card .

Davis fired a final-day round of 62 – the lowest of the field that day – to finish alone in third place. Erickson entered the final round outside the top-20 positions, which receive 2025 DP World Tour cards, then proceeded to shoot a 63 and climb over 21 positions.

The two golfers earn cards for the 2025 season for the tour formerly known as the European Tour, which kicks off in late November.

Before he traveled to Spain Davis told Colorado AvidGolfer in an interview that if he succeeded he would still go through the next stage of the PGA Tour qualifying school, but would do so knowing he had an ace in his pocket.

Davis is shown congratulating another player on the 18th green in posts sent out this morning by the DP World Tour.

After the round Erickson called his family.

“I couldn’t breath for about four hours,” Erickson told his mother in the call.

The fierce competition played out over six rounds at the Infinitum Golf Lakes and Hills courses in Tarragona, Spain.

The margin for error on qualifier tournaments is always razor thin. Denver-native Gunner Wiebe, who has played the last several seasons on the DP World Tour, finished in a tie for 50th place and did not qualify for the full Tour card. Wiebe played the six-day tournament at 12-under par but needed to do just one shot better each day to have finished in the top 20.
