Colorado’s Wyndham Clark, who has won two PGA Tour events this year, on Monday was named to the Ryder Cup team for the USA via the Ryder Cup USA Instagram account.

It will be Clark’s first time on the Ryder Cup squad. This year’s competition will be played Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome.

The competition pits the best US golfers against the best from Europe.

The Americans have not won in Europe since 1993. Scottie Scheffler is the only other U.S. golfer who has qualified for the team at this stage in the season. Players earn Ryder Cup points throughout the season, and Clark jumped up the board with wins at the U.S. Open in July and the Wells Fargo Championship in May.

Other players at the top of the Ryder Cup list for the U.S. at the end of July include British Open winner Brian Harman, Brooks Koepka, Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay. Team Euro’s qualifying list is topped by Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm.
