Red Sky remains elite
Red Sky Golf Club remains one of the elite golf experiences in the Rocky Mountains through constant evolution.
Members and guests from around the world have enjoyed the seclusion and amenities since the Vail Resorts club opened in 2002. It features two of the best golf courses in the state – one designed by famed architect Tom Fazio and one by Golf Hall of Famer Greg Norman.
The mountainside courses lie between 7,000 and 8,000 feet in elevation and are the centerpiece of the residential complex that sprawls across 800 acres of former ranch land. Visitors arrive primarily off the Wolcott exits of Interstate 70, turning south immediately and making a short climb into the foothills. The gated complex welcomes visitors while golf is available from late spring to fall. Long a dream destination, the private club offers yearround memberships as well as golf availability for guests staying at a host of Beaver Creek and Vail hotels and lodges.

The club’s two 18-hole tests have matured well – the Fazio Course and the Greg Norman Course. The Greg Norman course received bunker upgrades in 2018, a project that saw club member Norman checking back in on the progress. Traveling to Red Sky has never been easier. With Red Sky Golf Club centrally located, visitors can choose between a direct flight into Eagle with a short 20-minute drive or land in Denver and be on the course in just over two hours.
Stay and play partners in Beaver Creek and Vail include the Grand Hyatt Vail, the Ritz Carlton Vail, The Solaris, The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Beaver Creek Lodge and Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. Private members experience elevated service, member clubhouse amenities, and a more accessible tee sheet on the member’s daily designated course, creating an unforgettable mountain golf experience defined by exceptional hospitality, breathtaking scenery, and championship-caliber conditioning.
