Rio Verde is a 36-hole private golf community located just 15 minutes east of North Scottsdale, Arizona. Rio Verde offers a complete active adult lifestyle with a real-down home feel. Our golf membership, with its open arms approach, has over 12 men’s, women’s and couple’s groups to help welcome members and create a camaraderie like no other. On top of these groups, Rio Verde offers an active Couple’s Golf Association, Men’s Golf Association and one of the largest 9 and 18 hole Women’s Golf Associations in the Valley.

Rio Verde’s Full Membership provides unlimited access to 36-holes of parkland-style golf, a driving range, three putting greens, a bunker/chipping complex, and a full calendar of golf and social events. Because Rio Verde Country Club is managed by Troon Privé, members can request tee times at over 500 private, resort, and daily fee courses worldwide.

Rio Verde features two traditional-style courses with a soft desert look. They are Midwestern in style with a lot more grass than one would imagine in a desert setting. When Tom Lehman led the $6 million course renovation project, he achieved his vision of creating two uniquely distinct courses, one having elements of a traditional golf course and the other plays more as a links style, giving members a never-ending variety of golf experiences. Common to both courses are meticulously groomed fairways, greens loaded with personality, and outstanding mountain views.

Rio Verde is insulated from the hustle and bustle of city life, but within reach of all that the Valley of the Sun has to offer.
