The Broomfield resort has Oct. 12 qualifier for a national Omni Resort competition
The Omni Interlocken Hotel and Resort in Broomfield is hosting a qualifier Oct. 12 for the 2nd annual Omni Generation Cup golf tournament.

The Cup is a family-focused golf tournament that allows two-generation playing teams to compete: parent and child or grandparent and grandchild for example.
Registration for the Omni Generation Cup is open until Oct. 9 HERE for $250/team for Omni club members and PGA Professionals and $350/team for all other entrants.
The local qualifier will take place Oct. 12 at the Golf Club at Omni Interlocken. Teams will play a shamble-format with each player hitting their drives, the team selecting the best drive, then each player playing their own ball from that point forward on the hole. Low gross and net teams will earn invitations to the Generation Cup national championship. The Omni Interlocken qualifier is one of 12 being held at Omni Hotels and Resorts around the country. The national championship will be held in May 2026 at the Omni Amelia Island Resort in Florida.

Teams will compete in one of three divisions: grandparent/grandchild; parent/child or aunt or uncle with niece or nephew; PGA professional and family member.
