It’s Masters Week!

By Tony Dear

Readers are probably aware by now that it’s Masters Week. It has been eight months since Scottie Scheffler won the Open at Royal Portrush and six since the Ryder Cup at Bethpage, but, man, it seems longer. Sure, there’s been plenty of good golf over the last few weeks, but it’s the history-making events that really get the golf juices flowing. And it’s been a long wait.

There are now more ways to celebrate the return of meaningful golf than simply watching it on TV. Just as limited-edition golf gear has become increasingly popular in recent times, so have event-based products. These days, you can get shoes, headcovers, apparel, and various other products/accessories whose releases coincide with certain tournaments, specifically the major championships and the Ryder Cup.

This year, a growing number of manufacturers are in the Master’s spirit. None of these products is an official Masters item, of course (you find all that in the Masters Merchandise tent at Augusta National), and they aren’t stamped with ‘Masters’ or ‘Augusta National Golf Club’ logos, but the manufacturers’ creative departments find ways around that without involving lawyers. Not surprisingly, stock is limited, so if you think a green/spring/peach/Georgia/azalea/etc.-themed item will help you enjoy the Masters a little bit more. Start looking soon.

Bridgestone
The Peach Reserve Vault collection comprises a commemorative hat and towel, and an updated version of the company’s Tour B RX ball ($60/dozen), which features a new mantle called “VeloSurge”, designed to increase ballspeed for moderate swingspeed golfers. bridgestonegolf.com

Callaway
The Chrome Tour April Major ball has “90” stamped on it to commemorate the 90th playing of the year’s first major. callawaygolf.com

J Lindeberg
The J Lindeberg Augusta tour capsule features polos, hoodies, socks, hats, shorts, and the cotton/nylon Bridger Tour Jacket ($395). jlindebergusa.com

Johnnie-O
It looks like a fairly typical shirt, but the pattern on Johnnie-O’s Performance Jersey Polo – Pimento ($105) is actually made up of thousands of tiny pimento cheese sandwiches.

Player Athletics
The Azalea Polo is the signature piece of the company’s Azalea Collection, which also offers hats, t-shirts, headcovers, and towels. plyrathletics.com

Precision Pro
One of golf’s most respected rangefinder manufacturers is offering its Titan Elite Rangefinder in a Masters-themed green/silver/yellow unit with an azalea print (hence the name – “Azalea edition” – $349).  precisionprogolf.com

Puma
There are quarter-zips, polos, hoodies, shorts, and hats in Puma Golf’s 30904 Collection (the Zip Code in which Augusta National is located), plus the Suede G 30904 spikeless golf shoe ($130). Green and white with a cool peach mid-sole. pumagolf.com

Rhoback
Rhoback’s extensive 2026 Azaleas Collection is made up of polos, hats, headcovers, quarter-zips, visors, shirts, hoodies (our favorite is the Highlands Performance Hoodie – $124), and even boxer-briefs. rhoback.com

Srixon
It’s hard to pick a favorite item from Srixon’s green/white/yellow Spring Collection. The smartly-packaged two dozen box of Z Star Diamond ($90) will be a popular purchase, but so too will the Sunday Bag ($200), Stand Bag ($350), or Staff Bag ($550). Hats, towels, and headcovers are also available, plus the Asics/Srixon Japan S shoe. srixon.com

Stitch Golf
“Azalea Collection” is obviously a popular name for Spring/Masters-themed lines. The standout product from Stich Golf’s Azalea Collection is probably the SL2 Gen 2 Stand Bag in Fernwood (a slightly darker shade of green than Masters Green – $398), but don’t ignore the headcovers or polos. stitchgolf.com

TaylorMade
TaylorMade’s Season Opener Collection includes balls (TP5 pix), headcovers, and the green/white leather Staff Bag ($700) that its players will be using this week. taylormadegolf.com

Whoop
The company is offering green (“Links”) and pink (“Azalea”) SuperKnit bands ($49) for its fitness/sleep tracker devices. whoop.com
