Just northeast of Las Vegas you will find the best place to play in town.
With three golf courses designed by Billy Casper/Greg Nash and managed by Golf Summerlin Las Vegas. The Highland Falls, Palm Valley, and Eagle Crest courses are well-conditioned, challenging, and enjoyable.
From the beautiful mountains to a great skyline view of the Strip, the different views on each course will not disappoint. Golf Summerlin has two championship-style courses and an executive course. There is something for all ages and skill levels.
Director of Golf Donny Long said, “Golf Summerlin’s courses are among the best maintained in Southern Nevada. Most believe Golf Summerlin is private as we are a hidden gem in a community of 7,800 homes, but all three courses are public and open to outside play. The private feel is a bonus. Not only are you guarded in a beautiful community, but you will also enjoy the mountain scenery as we are located at the base of the Charleston Mountain range, making us about five degrees cooler than most of the Las Vegas area.”
“Golf Summerlin offers three very unique and different golf experiences, each with its own charm,” claims Highland Falls Head Pro Jim Neighbors. “Hole 14 at Highland Falls is my favorite par 3 in Las Vegas. The tee sits about 40-feet above the green so picking the correct club is the key to playing this hole well and there is not a better view of the Las Vegas valley than on the tee box at 14.”
You’ll love the resort-like atmosphere at Highland Falls and Palm Valley – without the sticker shock. Long says Highland Falls tends to be the favorite for most out-of-towners due to spectacular conditions, elevation changes, and the views. Palm Valley is a more traditional layout, flatter but longer, with well-placed bunkers and outstanding conditions. Eagle Crest has become a favorite for many due to quick rounds and playability.
“Palm Valley is a very player-friendly course,” says its Head Pro Shane Sanchez. “While there are plenty of challenges for all skill levels, most golfers leave the course satisfied.”
“The private feel at Golf Summerlin is a bonus,” says Long. “And our friendly, knowledgeable staff will just add to that feeling as you play, dine and shop here.”
