Just west of Rabbit Ears pass, with Steamboat Springs in view, Haymaker Golf Course is a welcome gathering place for golfers, kids, groups, friends and family. A variety of social activities including golf, instruction, junior programs and dining are offered. Haymaker is a great place to gather and play for a few hours or an entire day.
The Golf Course: Players at our 18 hole links-style course are rewarded by uninterrupted vistas of the lush Yampa Valley and majestic Mount Werner. Free from residential development, the only distraction is the local wildlife that call this spectacular setting home. The course lends itself to golfers of all abilities from the novice to the professional. The 233-acre championship golf course features at least four sets of tees per hole, playing from 5,059 to 7,308 yards. It has been heralded as a ‘core layout’ using large greens and gentle undulations, which blend seamlessly with the topography of the region.
The Practice Facility: A newly expanded driving range, putting green, sand trap and chipping area lies just outside the club house. Spend an hour working on your swing with a “bucket & beverage”. Schedule a lesson with one of our PGA golf professionals; try the latest equipment at one of the many demo days offered. Practice is an ideal way to improve your game.
Junior Golfers: Haymaker supports junior golfers with summer long programs, special green fees and junior golf tournaments. Families are encouraged to practice and play together any time of day.
The Golf Shop: Stocked with trendy & technical golf apparel, comfortable shoes, an extensive selection of accessories as well as golf clubs and bags the shop offers everything you’ll need for your round at Haymaker. Rental clubs for men, women and juniors are available and our staff is prepared to help with all your questions and needs.
Golf Outings: Golf with your wedding party, corporate colleagues or friends this season. All types of group events are welcome and our PGA professionals will coordinate an unforgettable round complete with golf, course contests, scoring, and prizes.
Rainy Day Play: The Fringe golf simulator @ Haymaker offers indoor play all year long. Utilizing the TrackMan launch monitor, experience incredibly realistic play on over 230 courses.
Come solo or bring your buddies in for a remarkably enjoyable round of golf.
The Patio Grill: Meet friends at the Patio Grill and enjoy après golf, lunch, or a theme dinner with beautiful views of the Yampa Valley and delicious local fare. Enjoy a drink at happy hour prices after your golf round. Gather over dinner on the veranda and experience Steamboat’s alpen glow at sunset.
