CasaBlanca II-Man Spring Tournament Debuts in Mesquite, NV

Popularity of II-Man Fall Tournament leads to new addition on May 5-7, 2023.

MESQUITE, NEV. – (March 01, 2023) – Mesquite Gaming announces the addition of the CasaBlanca II-Man Spring tournament to be held over the weekend of May 5-7, 2023 in Mesquite, NV. Created largely by popular demand following the success of the CasaBlanca II-man Fall tournament, the Spring competition will be held on three championship courses – CasaBlanca Golf Club, Palms Golf Club, and Falcon Ridge Golf Club.

“In 2022, Mesquite Gaming presented our most ambitious and successful golf tournament schedule ever and won Gold Awards for the quality of our courses,” said Christian Adderson, tournament director for Mesquite Gaming. “The II-Man Fall Tournament was probably the most fun of all, so we decided to introduce a II-Man Spring version to allow more players and spectators to experience its entertaining and unique competitive format.”

The CasaBlanca II-Man will showcase a different format for each golf course, allowing both amateur and professional golfers to compete with varying handicaps. The tournament begins with a welcome reception and pairing party for participants. The Palms Golf Club will feature a two-man scramble format, using 25 percent of the team’s combined handicap. Falcon Ridge Golf Club will feature a best-ball format and each player will receive their full course handicap. The CasaBlanca Golf Club will host the modified alternate shot format and use 25 percent of the combined team handicap.

The tournament will be expanding to take up to 150 teams and offer gross and net flights. Course rotation will be determined based on the number of registered net and gross teams. Each flight will be competing for $6,000.* Daily skins will be available at your course each day, and golf course formats include 7:30 a.m. shotgun starts.

*$6,000 prize money for each flight, 25 teams in a flight.

The scenic and award-winning course lineup for both tournaments includes the CasaBlanca Golf Club, featuring an 18-hole, 7,011-yard championship course, designed by Cal Olson; the Palms Golf Club with scenic elevation changes along the Virgin River wetlands and a special par-five hole with a 114-foot drop to the fairway; and the Kelby Hughes/Cresent Hardy designed Falcon Ridge Golf Club, which presents high mesa views and numerous water features catering to a variety of skill levels.

Entry fees for the tournament are $500 per person or $1000 per team of two. CasaBlanca Resort room specials are offered for the tournament weekend at $64 (Thursday) and $100 (Friday and Saturday) nightly, in addition to hotel tax and a daily resort fee. Book a room online or call 702-345-6789.
