A $51K Milestone Sets 170 Veterans on a Path to HOPE

At the PGA REACH Colorado Foundation, we believe in the power of the game to change lives. This year, at the 2026 Raising HOPE FORE Heroes Gala, our community proved they do, too. The evening proved a resounding success, raising over $51,000 to fund a path forward for our military heroes. These proceeds will support 170 veterans or active-duty through a 6-week PGA HOPE Program, conducted by HOPE Certified PGA of America Golf Professionals.

A heartfelt thank you as well to our Veteran Impact Panelists, Leo Markworth (U.S. Marine Corps), Jason Harrington (U.S. Army), and Julio Fitzgibbons (U.S. Navy SEALs Team), whose powerful words and presence reminded us all of the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who serve. Their message brought PGA HOPE’s mission to life and underscored the importance of saving the lives of veterans facing the most difficult challenges.

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is more than a program. It’s a pathway to healing through golf. PGA HOPE allows service members of all abilities to find healing, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose through the game of golf. And thanks to supporters like you, they’re able to participate at no cost.

– Community events that foster camaraderie and purpose

– Equipment, facilities, and mental wellness resources

The generosity shown at our Gala has set the stage for an even bigger impact. Mark your calendars for July 14, 2026, for the PGA REACH Invitational reception, where we will have another silent auction and give away a mortgage-free home. We are once again teaming up with the Military Warriors Support Foundation to provide our 13th mortgage-free home to a deserving wounded Veteran that evening.
