Denver-area golf executive Rachel Carter has been named the new vice president of business development for Landscapes Golf Management, a national company that provides golf course management services.
Carter, who is based in the Denver area, was previously the senior director of membership for the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA). Working closely with golf course owners and operators, she optimized member engagement and retention, drove revenue strategies and evolved service models to meet the needs of the organization’s more than 4,000 member facilities.
Carter has worked in the golf industry for more than 25 years. She will advise potential Landscapes Golf Management clients about the company’s offerings in business strategy and planning, golf course maintenance, clubhouse operations, marketing, IT, staffing and training, food and beverage, health and wellness, merchandising, golf instruction and financial management.
“After years sitting across the table from owners and operators – listening to their challenges, learning about their businesses and gaining a deep understanding of their needs from partners – I’m excited to put that perspective to work in a new way,” said Carter. “I was very intentional about my next career chapter and found tremendous alignment with Landscapes Golf Management in its people, culture and vision for the future.”
Carter serves on the board of trustees of the Colorado Open Foundation, as well as the board of the Colorado Golf Coalition, is a frequent speaker at golf conferences and other industry events, and regularly contributes to Golf Business Magazine, Board Room Magazine and industry outlets.

Carter held operational leadership positions at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, The Santa Lucia Preserve, La Jolla Country Club and a major multi-course operator.
Landscapes Golf Management provides management services to more than 70 properties in 26 states, including the Broadlands Golf Course in Broomfield and King’s Deer Golf Club in Monument.
