The Field is set for this week’s Inspirato Colorado Women’s Open
At the Inspirato Colorado Women’s Open this week the pros will be playing for what remains one of the highest purses in state Open golf in the country.

But with $50,000 going to the first place finisher, the tournament will be the first since the Colorado Open Golf Foundation reduced the prize from what it had been, $100,000.
More than 110 players are registered for the tournament, amateurs and pros alike. The field includes players from the LPGA and Epson Tours as well as some of the best pro and amateur women players in the state. LPGA players include Brianna Do of Lakewood, California, Mariel Galdiano of Pearl City, Hawaii, Jessica Porvasnik of Hinckley, Ohio, and Fatima Fernandez Cano of Spain.

Past champions in the field include two-time champion Becca Huffer of Denver, Clariss Guce, Haylee Harford and Savannah Vilaubi Carlson.
Three-time Solheim Cup participant Gerina (Mendoza) Zeigler of Rosell, NM returns as does three-time USGA championship winner and Colorado native Jill McGill. Many Epson Tour players will compete this week including Josee Doyon of Quebec, Canada, Kaitlin Milligan of Norman, OK, Katherine Muzi of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Emma Broze of Nervieux, France and University of Colorado alum Sabrina Iqbal of San Jose, CA.
Three sets of sisters all with Colorado roots will tee it up Wednesday (Ashley Tait-Wengert and Jaylee Tait, Lauren Lehigh-Dickey and Katelyn Lehigh, Elle and Brenna Higgins) and one aunt-niece combo in Jill McGill and Kelly O’Keefe of Lodi, CA who is the daughter of McGill’s sister Shelley.
