The Ascendant presented by Blue offering four slots to top finishers in three local qualifiers
For the first time, tournament organizers for the Korn Ferry Tour’s only Colorado stop, The Ascendant presented by Blue, are awarding the final four playing slots in the July tournament to the top finishers of Denver-area qualifying tournaments.
Three qualifying tournaments will be played July 6 at the tournament’s host course, TPC Colorado in Berthoud.

Two of the four final qualifying slots to the Korn Ferry Tour’s Ascendant presented by Blue tournament will go to the top two finishers in the qualifying tournament who have PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour status already.
The other two will go to the top finishers in a junior division (age 18 or younger as of July 6) and an open division (older than 18).
The open and junior qualifying tournaments will be eligible to all golfers with handicaps of zero or better. The field of the junior qualifying event will be determined through The Universal Golf Rankings (TUGR); players will be accepted in ranking order through June 12.
To apply, players must submit an application; the entry fee is $300.
“We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity for all golfers aspiring to play in The Ascendant presented by Blue in 2024.” said Tournament Director Drew Blass. “We hope this tournament provides these four golfers the opportunity to showcase their talents against world class golfers on the Korn Ferry Tour.”
The Ascendant presented by Blue will be held July 11 to 14 at TPC Colorado. The tournament is the Korn Ferry Tour’s 17th tournament of the 2024 season and carries a $1 million purse. For more information go to TheAscendant.com.
