The Wigwam Resort, a 440-acre oasis resort nestled in the West Valley of Phoenix, is Arizona’s only 54-hole golf resort with two golf courses designed by legendary course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. (Gold and Blue) and the Robert “Red” Lawrence-designed Red Course.

All three courses are true parkland-style courses with parallel fairways and greens. Canals, streams, lakes, and hundreds of mature trees make The Wigwam a unique golf experience in the desert Southwest.

With its roots descending deep into Arizona’s early cotton era, The Wigwam opened as a guest ranch on Thanksgiving Day 1929. Today, 331 elegantly crafted adobe and timber guest rooms, casitas, and suites welcome golfers, business and leisure travelers. Guests enjoy three expansive swimming pools, bocce ball and tennis courts, and the 26,000-square-foot LeMonds Aveda Salon – Spa. The resort’s signature restaurant, Litchfield’s, offers a unique sense of place with a menu crafted from locally sourced produce. For a more casual meal, Red’s Bar & Grill has one of the best restaurant patios in Phoenix and overlooks the resort’s Gold and Blue courses.

With six new Golf Buddy Trip packages, now is a great time to take advantage of The Wigwam’s offerings. Packages can be customized to pair rounds of golf with poker; wine, whisky, or beer tastings; a helicopter tour; a private dining experience at Litchfield’s; spa treatments; private group golf-like yoga sessions; and/or golf instruction.

Located within the affluent community of Litchfield Park, The Wigwam is easy to get to, just 25 minutes west of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
