‘13 Will Be Lucky

As we prepare to putt out on 2012, it’s time to reflect on some of the shots that got us here and the ones we plan on taking.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of Colorado AvidGolfer magazine, no small feat in the rapidly diminishing world of print publishing. We celebrated the occasion with a special April issue that reviewed and foretold the surrounding decades. The other seven issues provided the high caliber of story you’ve come to expect, including a heart-wrenching confessional from PGA Professional Mike McGetrick and a preview of August’s U.S. Amateur at Cherry Hills.

It’s been a great year for Colorado AvidGolfer. And we just can’t wait to tee it up in 2013. That’s because we’re revamping our game to take it to a much higher level.

Call it CAG 2.0.

In partnership with a cutting-edge Denver-based web developer, we’re enhancing and amplifying every aspect of what we do. We’re giving you a wee taste of it with our CAGGY awards. If you haven’t already voted for the best in Colorado golf, Get On It. Now!
