Colorado Golf Expo to help kick-off 2026 season

2026 Colorado Golf Expo at new location

By Jim Bebbington

The 2026 Colorado Golf Expo, March 6 to 8, is hoping a new location keeps its regular visitors happy and brings out a host of new ones.

After several years at the Denver Convention Center the Golf Expo this year is relocating to the LVC building and the National Western Center. That grounds are home to the famous National Western Stock Show each January.

The new location is so great to work with,” said Kevin Morton, the owner of the Golf Expo. “The people are amazing and they’re doing everything they can to make the transition smooth.”

The Expo is one of the kickoff events of the golf season. This year’s even will include the array of courses, manufacturers and vendors seeking to help players get the most out of the game.

With the move to the National Western Center, parking is free for visitors.

The Expo was held for many years on President’s Day weekend, and battled the three-day ski-weekend for attention. Last year it moved to early March, and the main competitor for its attention is golf itself; if the weather is nice, many players will be out on courses.

This year Colorado golfers have been playing through the winter because of the persistent warm temperatures and Morton is hoping golfers will have time to take a break and come to the Expo.

World Long Drive competitors will be on site hitting into bays and long-putt competitions will be held with winners receiving tickets to this summer’s Korn Ferry tournament at TPC Colorado, The Blue Championship.

Most major golf manufacturers will be there with displays, fittings and testing available at the indoor driving range. Lenny’s Golf and Ski Shop remain one of the largest displays, offering golf gear from clubs and balls to clothing.

Colorado AvidGolfer will be selling the 2026 Golf Passport, and passport buyers beforehand will get two free tickets to the Expo. Go to the Golf Passport page and enter the purchase code EXPO. Expo tickets are also $3 off at ColoradoGolfExpo.Com with the code AVID.

There is also a Lego golf contest for children, part of the Expo’s efforts to get children interested in the game. “Were always trying to make it so it’s a family friendly environment,” Morton said. “We want kids to have fun and try the game.”
