At least three players with Colorado ties earned spots in the PGA Tour Q-School finals in regional tournaments that ended Friday, Dec. 5.

Dillon Stewart of Fort Collins earned his spot in the Q-School finals by finishing T-11 in the three day second round qualifier held at Starr Pass Golf Course in Arizona. Jake Staino of Englewood also made it into the Starr Pass regional, but failed to advance.
Turk Pettit of North Carolina, who won the 2023 Inspirato Colorado Open, also made it through to the Q-School finals by finishing tied for 12 at the Conservatory at Hammock Beach qualifier. Griffin Barela of Lakewood also played in that regional qualifier but did not advance.

And Chris Korte, who grew up in Littleton and led the 2025 Colorado Open after day two this past summer, also made it into the PGA Tour’s Q-School finals. Korte finished tied for 4th in the qualifier held at Kiderlou Forest Golf Club in Georgia.

The final competition takes place Dec. 11 to 14 at TPC Sawgrass in Florida. The top five finishers next weekend get PGA Tour membership for next season. The next 40 and ties get 2026 Korn Ferry Tour membership. All players in the finals get conditional members in the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour and membership in the PGA Tour Americas which grants them access to tournaments played in Latin America next year.
