CAG 2.0 – The Upgrade

I am stoked! If the weather holds up, it looks like we can sneak in a few rounds before we let Old Man Winter play through.

But more than that, I’m excited because during the next few months, our staff will be teeing up the digital future of Colorado AvidGolfer. Call it CAG 2.0.

That future begins with voting for our annual “Best of Colorado Golf Awards,” which we’ve dubbed the CAGGYs. Visit www.coloradoavidgolfer.com now and vote for your favorite courses, instructors and more!

Voting online gives you a voice.  So does social media. A huge part of CAG 2.0 will come via Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, where we encourage you to follow us to get all the updates and inside info on everything CAG.

And we mean everything. We know that delivering you the latest in Colorado golf news, tournament information and golf discounts requires much more than an annual Golf Passport (2013’s version features more than $6,000 in golf savings) and a monthly magazine. It requires a daily commitment. And we’re making it.

We’re revamping our website by adding blogs, instructional videos, slide shows, surveys, equipment and course reviews, quizzes and new ways to interact with us and with other members of the Colorado AvidGolfer community.

We’re also upgrading our e-newsletter. Sign up to become an Avid Insider. It’s your ticket to exclusive deals and more content.

Around here, the golf season’s not over. It’s just beginning.

Hit ’em straight,

Jon Rizzi
Editor
