St. George’s emerging reputation as a golf mecca owes in part to the Red Rock Golf Trail, a complimentary service provided by the St. George Area Convention & Tourism Office that automatically calculates green fees with hotel prices for a total golf package rate. The trail consists of Coral Canyon (pictured above), Sky Mountain, Sand Hollow, Sunbrook, SunRiver, St. George, Dixie Red Hills, Green Spring, Southgate and The Ledges. • Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club (pictured above) is a private Johnny Miller Signature layout that allows play from guests of The Inn at Entrada. It courses through 7,085 yards of red rocks, streams and dramatic ancient black lava flows.
• Sand Hollow’s colorful 7,300-yard Championship course has twice been voted Golfweek’s top public course in Utah, and its 3,687-yard Links 9 is every bit as good. Onsite lodging makes for easy access to all 27 John Fought designed holes.
