The 2017 Solheim Cup champ keeps it simple on the tee for consistently long drives.

World No. 2 Lexi Thompson described her Sunday Solheim Cup match against Anna Nordqvist as her “weirdest round of golf ever.” The young American made the turn down four holes to her Swedish counterpart before clawing her way back to a halved match. Thompson turned the corner to play the next seven holes at 8-under par, thanks in large part to her length and accuracy off the tee. The match didn’t factor all that much into the final score (The U.S. team retained the title soundly, 16.5-11.5) but it did give us a primetime look at the most celebrated part of Lexi’s game— her tremendous length.

To illustrate how Lexi Thompson visualizes her drives on each tee box we dug up a September 2016 video from Golf.com. Take a look below and make sure to keep your thoughts simple, your posture athletic, and hammer drives down the fairway with ease just like the U.S. Solheim Cup Star.
