Two quick exercises to do in your home or hotel room
Working in Scottsdale, Steven Heller naturally sees plenty of golf vacationers. “By the second or third day, they’re feeling it in their backs, shoulders, legs…and scores,” says the fitness director at Scottsdale’s Westin Kierland Resort and the creator of FORE-MAX Golf Training System. “That’s because they don’t stretch.”
It doesn’t have to be that way. A few quick, uncomplicated exercises—done in your hotel room or prior to your trip—can make you feel better on the course, says Heller. “You might even see some extra distance off the tee.”
Among Heller’s exercises are the Open Gate and Reverse Flip. Watch the videos to find out how to do each.
