On Tuesday February 10, 2015, the Colorado Golf Industry will come together at the #1 Golf Resort in North America, The Broadmoor, to discuss key industry issues and begin the celebration of 100 years of golf in Colorado. As the golf industry is down from a high of 30 million participants in 2003 to numbers hovering around 25 million for the past three years, come hear from industry leaders on what actions are being taken on a National level to address this decline and what facilities in Colorado need to do to grow their business. As participation rates have remained around 25 million for the past three years, participation rates for ages 18 to 34 have dropped by 13% since 2009, while active sports like running rose 29%. Come listen and learn how knowing Generational Attributes and becoming a more Diverse and Inclusive golf operation can positively affect the future of your business. Hear from the leaders of the PGA of America, United States Golf Association and the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association on what these associations are doing to support efforts to bring more people into the game.
