Deer Creek Golf Club has a links-style layout that meanders through rolling hills covered with more than 40 acres of natural wetlands. Originally built with just three sand greens in 1918, Fitzsimons Golf Course evolved into a popular 18-hole military facility. A frequent favorite of President Eisenhower in the 1950s, it became an Aurora public golf course in 1998. The tree-lined gem is now an attractive cornerstone to a bioscience park with some of the state’s leading hospitals. The front nine’s redesigned holes, orchestrated by Richard Phelps in 2004, complement the classic layout and strong traditions at Fitz.

The design is also ideal for players new to the game or those looking to enjoy a less demanding golf experience. Its rural setting is highlighted by great conditions and vast open spaces.
