Lizzie Driver’s Fall/Winter Collection Takes Flight

Dress for Success With ‘Birds of a Feather’

It’s easy to be a fan of Lizzie Driver, the California-based apparel maker that has been turning heads since its launch in 2011. Now there’s more Lizzie to love with the release of the company’s fall/winter lineup, “Birds of a Feather,” a premium fabric collection that teams with stylish prints from Liberty of London.

“We’ve built a strong relationship with Liberty of London to seamlessly customize and curate designs that fit the needs of our discerning clients,” says Lizzie Driver Co-Founder Karen Preston. “The aim is for all our garments to have a level of feel, fit and fashion that goes equally well with cute flats or golf shoes.”

That they do, and more. The seasonal line offers distinctive and aesthetically elegant draping that borrows inspiration from the seemingly effortless grace and resonant beauty of birds in flight.

It also reflects “the mood of the season,” says co-founder Lorrie Forgatch. “We’ve drawn from the exceptionally vibrant palette of fall foliage, balanced by the subdued tones of winter.”

“Birds of a Feather” functions and flatters extraordinarily well on the golf course and off, offering classic hues, stand-out color combinations, and elegant floral and geometric patterns. The collection is fully expressed across a selection of finely crafted tops, bottoms, dresses, sweaters and jackets, most of which are manufactured in downtown Los Angeles.

The classically tailored clothing is worn in competition by several LPGA Tour players, including 2014 Women’s British Open champion Mo Martin. Find the label ($100-$300) at better pro shops and at LizzieDriver.com.
