Congratulations to Sergio García, 2017 Masters Champion!

Throughout the tournament, we saw García’s distinctive swing, which involves a lag that generates incredible power, especially with his irons.

Here, he explains how he does it:

Developing that kind of lag, instructor Hank Haney says, is not easy to emulate. It involves timing and practice. If you’re prone to slicing, don’t try it. But if you pull or hook the ball, give the lag a try.

Few of us know that before the season began, García put in a performance almost as clutch and entertaining as the one he turned in at Augusta. His last shot turned out to be prophetic. Watch, laugh and be impressed.
