Hahn Extends Lead Heading to Final Round of CoBank Colorado Women’s Open

Denver, CO: Jennifer Hahn of Henderson, NV extended her lead to two strokes after once again shooting the low round of the day (5-under 67) and now sits at 11-under heading into the final round of the $75,000 CoBank Colorado Women’s Open at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. Along with six birdies today Hahn has made 12 birdies and just one bogey in 36 holes on the challenging course in northeast Denver.

Alone in second at 9-under par is 2011 champion Joy Trotter of Chino Hills, CA who fired her second consecutive sub-70 round (69) to enjoy a three stroke lead over her 3^rd place challengers. Tied for 3^rd place is Lacey Fears of Bonaire, GA and University of Virginia graduate Lauren Coughlin of Charlottesville, VA. Fears recorded an impressive 5-under 67 to tie leader Hahn for low round of the day, and Coughlin posted a respectable 2-under 70 to move to 138 total (-6). 

In the low amateur competition University of Denver student Jessica Dreesbeimdieke of Juno Beach, FL holds a two stroke lead over Lindsey Gullikson of Tacoma, WA.  Dreesbeimdieke fired a 2-under 70 to stand at 4-over 148. Three amateurs made the cut for the final round.

In total 15 players are even par or better and 43 players made the cut at 7-over 151 or better. 

In the pro-am competition Team Massage Envy consisting of Professional Amy Ihm of Peosta, IA and current chairman of the CO Open Golf Foundation Eric Kenealy posted the second 12-under par 60 in as many days to take a two stroke lead into the final round at 20-under 124. In a tie for second place at 18-under are Team Ferris State consisting of professional Elena Robles of Redondo Beach, CA and Jay Small of Aurora, CO, and Team Colorado AvidGolfer consisting of professional Tisha Abrea of Murrieta, CA and Allen Walters, publisher of the magazine. 

In total 13 pro-am teams made the cut at 12-under 132 or better.
