Often overlooked, but always a big hit, hosting a holiday party at one of Scottsdale’s many golf clubs is a great option. Most offer the kind of unique indoor/outdoor ambiance that truly enhances the holiday spirit – cracking fireplaces, colorful decor and just enough Jack Frost nipping at your nose.

Grayhawk Golf Club’s Fairway House offers 6,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space that accommodates up to 300 people. Large windows allow for golf course and mountain views, while the patio and fireplace take advantage of Scottsdale’s mild winter weather. The McDowell Room makes a grand statement from the gigantic timber-accented entryway to the king-sized wooden doors. It’s built to impress for parties of up to 180 guests. The Champions Room accommodates up to 30 people with French Doors that open to a cozy Southwestern-style patio.

The Brittlebush Bar and Grill at Kierland Golf Club treats guests to innovative, contemporary cuisine enjoyed in a rustic, casual ambiance. The main dining room accommodates up to 67 guests with its grand stone fireplace and southwest-inspired bar. The party can also carry on outdoors on the patio that features sweeping mountain views, fireplace and fire pit. Brittlebush also boasts a well-appointed private dining room for up to 22 guests.

The Mesquite Grille at McDowell Mountain Golf Club offers a warm, contemporary feel with an easygoing brand of casual elegance that is sure to impress your partygoers. The main dining room, indoor/outdoor bar, large patio, grassy area and fireplaces are all part of the package for groups of up to 50 guests. For larger parties of 150, the Palo Verde Ballroom is a great option where an entire wall opens to an adjacent event lawn, Sonoran Desert sunsets and city lights. It’s the ultimate indoor/outdoor venue for large groups.

The We-Ko-Pa Grille at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, with its floor to ceiling windows and roaring fireplace, comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests. And another 125 guests are able to enjoy the unique covered patio just outside the doors of the Grille. There’s also an intimate private dining room for smaller parties. Set in a quiet corner of the Sonoran Desert, guests also enjoy the crisp desert air and twinkling starlight nights.
