Don’t Ask, Don’t Telluride
It’s no secret the festive mountain town carries the day when it comes to great food.
Time was, you couldn’t get a great meal in a Colorado ski town because restaurateurs weren’t able to keep top-notch cooks and servers around once the snow melted. But that antiquated notion certainly doesn’t apply to Telluride. During the summer, the town offers world-class festivals of all kinds, the stratospheric Telluride Golf Club, and a bounty of culinary hotspots. I “researched” some of them while attending the 40th annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
