Grayhawk Golf Club Renovation Includes Remodel of Three of Four Final Holes

Scottsdale course tabbed Tom Fazio to rework his original design on the final holes

Tom Fazio was hired to rework his original design of the Raptor Course at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, in part to help bring some of the final holes closer in proximity to the rest of the course and ensure a terrific golf experience for Scottsdale golfers.

Holes 15, 16, and 17 will be remodeled in what was already a strong finishing stretch of holes and the new layout provides golfers with multiple options and choices to navigate the final holes. The tees on the par-4 17th were moved up to give long hitters a chance to reach the penultimate hole off the box.

Phil Mickelson famously chipped in during a hail storm on hole 18 so golf fans can rest easy knowing that hole will remain as is.

Grayhawk opened in 1994 and offers two enjoyable and challenging golf experiences: the par-72 Talon course and the par-72 Raptor course.
