Play Your Card Right

This is a great drill to help the golfer keep the left wrist flat—and not “flip” the golf club—at impact.

Place a credit card 2-3 inches in front of the golf ball, towards the target.

If you hit the golf ball, and miss the credit card, you “flipped” your wrists and did not achieve the desired hands or handle (grip end) forward position with the golf club at impact.

To achieve a better flat left wrist or hands-forward position at impact, practice “wiping out” both the ball and the credit card after impact.
